Sunday my family visited Conroe Bible Church. The advertisements on the internet say this is a "traditional" church. We were greeted with bongo drums, a twanging guitar and more drums. The "worship leader" was dressed with his shirttail outside his pants -- this would not even be acceptable in today's casual workplace so why would he represent the church in such a sloppy manner. We are a young family and found this entire setting to be distateful.



The minister read his sermon in a monotone voice and we had a very hard time keeping our eyes open. At the end of the service, there was no invitation or opportunity for prayer of any sorts. VERY disappointed.
