The practice of helping the disabled in NH is a joke to begin with, starting at the Governor's Council on Disability and going through the New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights and to the Superior Courts that handle disability cases so badly they are using laws dated in the 70s and replaced in the Amendments Acts of 2009, which they ignore. If there isn't any money in the case they couldn't care less if a disabled person is being discriminated against. This is a law firm, set up in downtown Concord, where there is no place for the handicapped to park. The only attorney in this office spent 15 minutes looking at a case. The NHCHR had already found probable cause and Zakre said she wasn't interested because all it was was an accommodation case. People that represent themselves pro se, if they know the law or not, are harassed. I have seen nothing but this. The Amendments Act states determining disability should not require extensive analysis and the proof is on the company that discriminates to prove they are not discriminating. This is ignored in NH. The New England ADA Regional Center opined the amount of data required by the lawyer and the Court exceeded what Congress required. Their opinion was ignored. The Zakre attorney talks about disability in her family which appears to be a tool to get people with disabilities to think she has an interest in helping the disabled. She showed no interest in my case. Pro bono work for attorneys in NH is a also a joke. The Judicial and Professional Conduct Committees are jokes. An attorney withheld medical information from the court and his peers didn't find a problem with that issue. The Judicial Conduct Committee always favors the Judge. There is no help for the disabled in NH. If you can get to a Federal Court then that is where you want to go. After several years of dealing with NH Commissions and Courts it is my opinion there is no help here and this particular firm is the worst I have ever dealt with.
