We love Emerson! It has been an wonderful school for the whole family. The teachers are amazing--inspirational, patient, fun, and knowledgeable. Our children have thrived in an atmosphere that values them and encourage them. They are able to build, create, explore, and make friends. We couldn't be happier with our choice for preschool.

Emerson School for Preschoolers is not just a wonderful school for preschoolers, but a great place for families! Having had 2 children go through three years of school here thus far, I can only say positive things. The curriculum focuses on the whole child, and the program of studies is centered around the particular interests of the children. While incorporating the Reggio Method of learning, many other balanced educational theories are practiced such as Montessori. Natural learning materials are incorporated as much as possible as well as outdoor learning. The teacher: child ratio is small allowing for many positive interactions between teachers, children, and parents. This school is an amazing place for young children to learn and the warm, wonderful staff is outstanding! I would recommend to anyone.

Both of our sons have attended Emerson Preschool & we have been extremely happy in every aspect with our experience . The teachers are kind , caring and nurturing .They all bring out the best in each child seeing & respecting them as individuales . Not only is academics addressed each day but using their imaginations in creating artwork ,building, exploring nature and developing relationships with the friends they make in a healthy , positive enviornment .

The class rooms are warm and inviting and each week there is some thing new that is introduced in a creative way for them to learn about.



We highly recommend Emerson to everyone with 3-5 year old children . There really is no comparison !

Our two very different children attended Emerson, and each experienced the caring, nurturing, and inspiration which are the hallmark of the school. The teaching staff at Emerson is second to none - they consistently provide a safe, respectful environment for all children. The curriculum is focused on the natural world and the children are encouraged to learn and grow through their own exploration. In addition to providing an amazing experience for the children, parents are encouraged to volunteer and take part in the classroom or serve as members of the board of directors. Our children "graduated" from Emerson as more thoughtful, considerate, and confident little people; and as a bonus, we all have life-long Emerson friends. Anyone looking at Concord-area preschools should visit the school and meet the staff, you'll easily see why Emerson is so well-loved and respected!

Emerson School is a truly exceptional school for preschoolers. My two children attended the school for two years each and it was a rich, meaningful experience for both of them. The highly qualified teachers are thoughtful and nurturing allowing the children's natural sense of wonder, imagination, and discovery to guide their learning. The work of the students and elements of nature are present throughout the classrooms. Families are encouraged to be actively involved in the school and greatly respected as an integral partner in the students' Emerson experience. My family and I still find joy in our Emerson memories and were well prepared for public education once they graduated. How fortunate the children and families who attend this amazing school!

I have two boys who attended Emerson preschool for two years each. I chose Emerson primarily for the quality of the teachers and atmosphere of the school. Three of the four teachers had taught at the school for fifteen or more years, and they have a personal connection with each child. The school fosters an atmosphere of community between the teachers, the children, the parents, and the surrounding community. Years later, I still feel connected to this school, and my children remember fondly their time there.

Being new to the Concord area, we did a lot of research on preschools in the area before making a decision. We toured several and Emerson was exactly what we were looking for. It did not feel like a day care center and the teacher who gave us the tour made everyone feel so welcome. My son started school at Emerson and immediately felt welcomed. The teachers genuinely care about the children and understand that each child is an individual with an individual way of learning. I feel like my child has gotten the best from his first experience with school. He has learned so much and truly loves learning.
