DNP's Information Media Supply division has since grown to be the world's largest thermal transfer ribbon manufacturer with three full-scale manufacturing facilities in the United States and Japan. DNP IMS America Corporation, a 100 percent U.S. subsidiary of Dai Nippon Printing Co., opened its operations in the United States more than five years ago. DNP IMS America Corporation manufactures thermal transfer ribbons for bar code and facsimile equipment for North and Latin America.
