I am almost afraid to live a review. I have been renting from Capstone since 2014 until April of 2020. The owner switched management companies. I absolutely loved Capstone. There was never a problem getting anything fixed. I would have my yearly inspection without any issues. No one every came unannounced The people at the office was always polite when I had to call for anything. The only problem I had was Ms. Phyllis one of the owners, never aging. I currently live at the property, but now trying to purchase my own home because of the new management who is TERRIBLE. I would recommend my friend and family to Capstone Investment Family owned business.

Wow, I wish I would have read the reviews first! They only got one star because I couldn't give them none!!!!!!! I had to deal with David Timerlake today and he was rude and nasty and Straight lied on my family and I. We have only been in this house 1 month and a half and had to put in a work order over three times for a plumber... it got so bad we had to leave the house. We called emergency maintenance three times and they would not Call or come to fix the problem. Well I had to tell the receptionist several times not to transfer me to anyone's voicemail. David got on the phone. He was yelling and cutting me off until my husband said something to him. He told us that we was flushing baby wipes and paper towels. We tried to tell him that we have done no such thing and the issues thats taking place has nothing to do with us. The landlord finally sent the plumbers back. This time they put a camera done there and found that there is a broking pipe and roots and dried up mud!!!!. Of course when I called him back he was not in the office. Can't wait for my year to be up! If possible rent from someone else. Stay far away from CAPSTONE INVESTMENTS.. PLEASE

They use thier company as a money pit , rent to anyone and work orders never get handled from the web access witch we were told to use,phone work orders are unacceptable! We became close to owner of our rental property and go through him instead and its done sometimes same day! I hope he loses them as a management co and does his own . Stay clear. And never feel you need to resign lease its your right to go month to month ,dont trap yourself longer if not necessary.

My in laws were to meet them and look at a property they didn't even show up they suck!! They are elderly one is on a heart transplant list and they didn't even have enough common decency to call . my mother in law called them after 45 mins and no show after they told her not to be late !!

Liars and poor landlord management. Rent to anyone. Don't buy a home next to their property or you will deal with nightmares. Don't return calls either. Will put you on hold not to face responsibility.

Wow, I wish I would have read the reviews before contacting them... I would have known what to expect...ABRUPT RUDENESS, CONDESCENSION, AND APATHETIC ATTITUDES!!! Whomever is answering the phones needs to be replaced or could take a page out of customer service and appreciation pamphlet! She definitely needs a trainer course on phone etiquette. Just a reminder to that phone operator (I wish I could remember her name)... without the consumer, you have no job so don't be so quick at the tongue... you are easily replaceable! When I called the first time, she confused me with another person who didn't call to cancel for a viewing. When I told her that wasn't me and that I'm respectful of others' time as well as my own, she said, "Hmmm, well, are you sure? I don't know about that..." WHAT?! Excuse me?! I had never been there and she had never met me. That was my first time calling-I should've seen the sign then. First impressions are everything. However I continued to search their properties and we were already having scheduling conflicts. She would repeatedly cut me off, shut me up, talk over me, tell me to just call back, etc. At the end I just couldn't take her sarcastic and demeaning tone anymore so I told her to cancel my appointments and I no longer wanted to do business with them, If its that much trouble and lack of care and just common decency in how you talk to people-then how and why would I want any affiliation with them?! I wouldn't! I don't! And I won't! People be ware! I never got to see any properties and I never got to see an agent, so I cannot speak on those matters but I can tell you that the initial greet and conversation over the phone is nerve-racking to say the least. Finding quality, comfortable, safe, and affordable living is hard enough let alone dealing with a disconnected receptionist who Capstone Investments LLC has representing their company. Don't just take my word for it, check the other reviews! We can't all be lying when we are all saying the same thing. Just don't do it. There are other options. But if you decide to push on anyway.... good luck to you! Maybe it's all downhill if you can get over the first hurdle. I'm sure they all don't have her nasty demeanor.

I agree with the below reviews. not all the staff is bad but owners the customer service or respect you get when you present a problem and there services are below par. I thought $1000 a month I wouldn't have receptacle issue, theft worries, hinges/trees falling, clogged toilets and bad tile in restroom area, dirty hvac systems refirg falling APART and seems everyone has had bad appliances or issues with refrigerator at some point if you rent with these guys have it recorded, in writing, face to face conversation and address all before and during your lease don't remain quiet or nothing gets done. I had recently heard of them going out of business and this stains our perception of who we pay rent to so to be honest this is poorest management i have ever seen from a company been in business this long. I want o know how you can get away with it and talk to people in a way that's condescending when they pay your rent. TAKE CARE OF YOUR TENANTS AND YOUR TENANTS TAKE CARE OF YOU. WE ARE THE #1 CUSTOMER AND PRIORITY ..OR ARE WE?

Been living in a house in a nice neighborhood but the house is falling apart. They dont fix anything on time and today a pipe bust so water is running everywhere and they dont care. I have to call the city to shut my water off! Its annoying! Got an inspection 3 times in 2 months because the Owner of the property didn't like how we were living. Your house is clean and we are not destroying your property so who cares! The landlord gets mad when something breaks and it needs to be fixed. Smh can't wait til my lease is up because I am getting the hell away from here. Bad decision to move here and deal with these people!!!

The timberlakes are slum lords..would live outside in a box before I would rent a place from them..have a family member that rents from them..pitiful houses
