We could not have been more pleased with our move this past Monday, July 23, 2018. We moved from Northville to Chesterfield Township. It was a very hot, muggy long day. Joe, Mike and Jesse were pleasant and respectful of our belongings. They showed up on time with a large truck and never stopped until it was done. They did everything we asked and more and the price was very reasonable. Nettie in the office is a pleasure to work with. Thanks Bos. We are huge fans!

Bos Moving is so professional! Not only did they move everything without a scratch but they did it with a smile, something that I didn't expect.



The guys they sent over were very nice and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. I noticed that they took extra care not to ding or dent anything that they moved or any walls that they were moving things near.



I have to say that calling these guys was the easiest part of this move. They came in, they moved everything effortlessly, and left me with a wonderful impression.



I WILL use these guys again (if I ever move again). I'll definitely recommend all of my friends and family to them as they were very reasonable on their rates and just blew my mind with professionalism and standard of care for my items.

My husband and I used Bos Moving and service a couple years ago around Christmas time. I was extremely stressed by moving during the holidays, but Bos Moving really made the experience as smooth as possible.



We chose Bos because they are a family owned company who has been in business for over 20 years and I had seen their trucks around town. My husband and I are big believers in supporting local small businesses.



The receptionist was kind over the phone, the owner, Mark, came out and did the estimate himself and I appreciated the opportunity to meet the owner in person before making a decision. After calling around to several other places, Bos' estimate was competitive, so we booked our move for Dec 26th.



The day of the move, the truck arrived on time and ready to load. The two men who came worked efficiently and were polite. The unload was smooth. The amount of time it took was extremely accurate to what I was quoted as was our final bill.



I'd use Bos again and I have referred them to several our family members and friends who have used them and would say the same thing.

In August 2012, I hired Bos to move only my piano. This piano was a gift from my husband for our wedding. Their website claimed to be piano movers. Well during the moving process, my piano was dropped causing significant damage to the front. At the time, I spoke with the owner Mark Bos who said he would handle the damage repair. I was very upset my piano was damaged, but at first was understanding that people are only human and mistakes happen. However, the entire process of getting my piano fixed was ridiculous. After 3 months of trying to get the piano to the repair location, I finally had to threaten to call a lawyer before anything was scheduled. I had called multiple times (sometimes a few times a week) and Mark was usually "not available" according to his receptionist. He would not respond to my emails, saying he never received them. I was told everything from "he is at a funeral" to "he is getting a root canal" by his secretary Nettie. Mark Bos also kept wanting his "cabinet" guy to just come to my house and touch up the damage. I refused multiple times, as I didn't want it touched up - I wanted it to look like new (which it did prior to being dropped). Martin Refinishing in Walled Lake fixed my piano, and did a fantastic job. I had to hassle with Mark Bos even to pay Martin before my piano could be released to come home. I ended hiring a different piano mover, who I was referred to be my piano tuner Craig Cole of Ace Piano. This was completely different experience, and they took great care with my piano on the move back. I paid for this out of pocket, because I did not trust Bos to touch my fixed piano. My piano came back home in mid December (4 months after being dropped!) I also needed to be reimbursed for the piano damage assessment, which I had to pay out of pocket at the time. I contacted Bos multiple times a week for the next 2 months via email and phone. I tried to set up a meeting with him, but was told that was not possible by his secretary. I had to wait for him to call me back, which did not happen. I continued to call and simply was requesting reimbursement for cost to assess the damage of the piano! Cost I had paid up front, in August, and was told it would be reimbursed. Finally after continuing to contact them I spoke with a different person who spoke with Mark's wife Lori. At one point I could hear Lori in the background telling the secretary to "tell her I will send her check next week" Next week came and went, and I called again. They requested I email the receipt again (fifth time!!!!) Finally last week (late February) my check finally came. I am so glad to be finished with Bos, and will never use them or recommend them to anyone. I am completely understanding that mistakes happen at times, but the customer service in this situation was RIDICULOUS! If I had not continued to call and pursue the repair of my piano, it would not have happened. This was the worst customer service I have ever received, and Mark Bos should be ashamed. I was also told by the other people that were involved in the piano repair that damage happens to piano moved by Bos all the time. I wish I would have done more research prior to hiring them.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. They are TERRIBLE!!! Avoid them at all costs. Broken furniture, broken promisesv and not returning phone calls (by the owner) is not a good way to stay in business.

This co. has moved me twice both times furniture was broken. Last time they were very immature, sloppy, left their lunch trash all over the house, didn't wrap things good, generic box markings, just a total mess. Still finding broken things. Acted like I was beneath them. Very immature begging for a bigger tip in lieu of making my bill lower should fire them all and get a new crew!!!

I needed movers to help me on an unexpected move. I called Bos a few days before I drove my 24' Budget truck to Detroit and they were able to fit me on the day I needed the help. They gave me a two-hour window to show up. They called me the day before to confirm, they called me the morning of the move, and they called me several times during the day to keep me posted on where they were at, time-wise, and when they would be there. While they ended up having to come an hour later than originally planned, I never worried because of the continuous communication.



When they did show up, the two movers were polite, respectful, and very careful with my goods. Additionally, I have never seen two men work so hard and get so much done in less than an hour. They did not damage any item or the house, they continually asked me questions about where I wanted items, and they packed the garage tightly and carefully - yet gave me access to the stored boxes.



One of the men took my mother's cedar chest into the house on a dolly then picked up the cedar chest and carried it up to the second floor and placed it where I had asked it to be. These movers were very strong and capable.



I have moved several times within the last few years and this is the best company/people I have had. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Bos moving company did an exceptional job, I was really impressed. They were on time for the job and moved all of our furniture and boxes into the truck in less than three hours they even finished before the estimated time. To add to that they also made you feel very comfortable. I would refer them to everyone!
