Called several times to talk to the CEO or Board Of Directors about being sold a damaged couch they refuse to fix and make right and they will not put you in contact with them. I was good enough to give them money but they are not good enough to fix a problem with the furniture I bought.

First off, why is there a phone number listed on this site but when you call that number you get no answer. They refer you to a phone number that just beep twice then disconnect. That's the first indication that this company is not on the up-and-up.

Second, I shopped at the Value City store in Waldorf Maryland on August 5, 2021. It was at that I purchased a mirror dresser, that was on the clearance floor with a tag attached with a price of $500. Well, unbeknown to me, I was charged $699. When I called the store to get verification of the actual price that was on the tag attached to the dresser in the clearance section, the only thing the so-called manager could tell me was, "that's the price that was in our system." Then my question was, why isn't the price tag keep with my paperwork in case of type a discrepancy, which could occur on your end as well. The so-called manager I spoke to, had the nerve to ask me did I take a picture of the sale tag. For what reason would I need to take a picture of the sale tag. In better operated stores, there is a price tag actually on the item so that it can be verified against the sales receipt. This is a very poor procedure and, as always, the customer is the one that has the bear the brunt of it with no recourse to satisfaction. I wish more patriots of business would speak out against and protest against stores so we can receive the service that we deserve for the money that we continue to pour into these companies. I've purchased from Value City stores in other states and have seen bad service from the salespeople to customer service up to management. I used to give Value City high praises and speak highly of them when conversing with others but at this point this is where that ends. I will do all I can to spread the word about their bad service thru the use of social media platforms that I have access to because if more customers would do this sort of thing, they would have to make improvements or loss money.

I purchased two accent chairs and a side table to be delivered 8/3. The delivery was two hours late. I had to constantly call for updates. When the delivery got here, a chair was missing the legs. The delivery men made a note of it and went on their way. I had to constantly call, be transferred, put on hold, leave messages, got hung up on and I finally got a hold of someone who tells me the legs weren't ordered. How can this be when I had two different people schedule the service delivery for two different days? What were they going to bring if the legs weren't available yet? They have to order them from the factory, they have no control over the eta, it'll be two more weeks. I still have no firm date on when they'll be delivered to the Cuyahoga Falls store for me to pick up, because delivery is so unreliable. I have a chair with no legs, just sitting on the floor and no one there cares. No sense of urgency, horrible customer service. The warehouse manager, Patrick will not call me back with a status. The rep I spoke with last, Carol, told me I have to call back to check on the status. I've been more than patient with this whole situation. I've been on the receiving end of an angry customer, being screamed at and threatened, I don't do this to CSR. Apparently nothing matters to VCF but getting your money. This is seriously the first and last time I purchase from Value City Furniture.

Horrible experience, came in the Easton store on 7/1 and was treated very rudely, I was looking for the pink chair with the ottoman and was told that they didn't have anymore. I asked if they could reach out to a different store and the associate stated that they probably didn't have any either, without actually confirming. I then spoke to a manager and ended up going to the Polaris location. I was helped by a Tom where I ordered 2 bedroom suites and a dresser with the ottoman and an extra pillow. I was advised it would all be delivered Sat 7/7. Saturday came and only my bedroom suites came and I called and asked for a manager named Chris who was very rude and told me that the chair couldn't be delivered and was for pick up only. I explained that wasn't what was told to me and I had no way to get it with such short notice. He belittled me stating that the chair was only 160 and that they wouldn't deliver anything at that cost, advised I had spent $1,600 and that because I was told this it should be honored. I feel he could've at least gave me a discount and possibly I could've got a uhual or something. I'll never shop here again, never heard of a company that only offered delivery on certain items, I'm a single female which is the reason I opted for delivery. The result was a refund which I am very disappointed, I really wanted the chair. Horrible experience!!!
