The Adventure Education Center, founded in 1982, is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of experiential learning programs for companies, schools and individuals of all ages in the Midwest. It offers adventure camps for school children. The organization works with more than 500,000 participants annually, including schools, colleges, churches, corporations, and local communities. The Adventure Education Center also hosts birthday and corporate parties, as well as provides opportunities to participate in activities, such as mountain biking, kayaking and wall climbing. It features Adventure Camp, which a summer day camp that specializes in outdoor adventure experiences for children in kindergarten through grade nine.
