Sterling Towne Properties is one of the most DIFFICULT management companies to work with. As other reviewers have stated, you never speak to a live person. Voicemails go unreturned. And it's not limited to one particular employee. From an outside perspective, it would seem that company policy is to screen all calls and ignore them until the tenant/homeowner pesters them.



Getting repairs done is also quite difficult. They are very particular about what is association responsibility and what is condo owner, which is fine, except what they are responsible for they delay in fixing.



I had a roof leak on my porch. The leak was from shoddy work by a company the Towne Properties hired to repair hail damage. I've had more leaks in my condo since the repair was done. The leak on my porch caused the roof to basically rot. When I called maintenance to come look at it, the guy confirmed it needed to be repaired. But I had to call and call and call, and still they don't accept responsibility.



My next step is BBB. Then I'm calling an attorney.



DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY TO MANAGE YOUR PROPERTIES UNLESS YOU WANT UNHAPPY HOMEOWNERS/TENANTS AND DILAPIDATED BUILDINGS.
