Called Smackie's for a slab of ribs. I was told 30 minutes for pickup. I get there within 30 minutes and the place was hot and filled with smoke. The phone order taker had put down that I had ordered 30 bones of ribs. With this mistake corrected to 12 bones, I waited another 30 minutes for just a rib order. There were four customers when I walked in and they all looked upset. I think the owner showed up only to show preference*(extra ribs) to his Trojan MC friends which is what I believed really delayed my order. The cashier seemed frustrated and picked his face the whole time, and the two cooks in the back were slow and didn't seem to care about the customers' time. The one cook who handed me my order did apologize for the delay. Lastly, once I got home, the ribs were luscious and fell off the bones, but the spicy sauce left a lot to be desired. It tasted like barbeque water with red chili pepper seeds in it. UUKK!!

Please get a woman cook/preparer in the kitchen

I went there with my son and aunt and the place was a complete mess. Food was all over the floors and tables. The place just looked dirty. I basically didnt have a waitress the hostess had to come over and take our order because she couldnt find the waitress. It took forever to order, receive and pay for our food. We could have just walked out without paying and no one would have noticed because we werent being helped at all. They would've just thought our table was just another one of the many tables around the restaurant that havent been cleaned off. The food was cold and disgusting. It tasted like something I could've made in my own kitchen....And I cant cook! Smackies better hope the health department doesnt show up because they will get shut down that same day. So unprofessional, unclean and the food is served cold. Dont waste your money at Smackies.
