Stu came to my home, showed me samples of the styles of bronzing I could get, quoted me a price and I had my shoes back in 10 weeks. It's such an old fashioned thing to do and I love it. My parents had my shoes bronzed, and my grandparents had my mother's booties bronzed. The mounting with the shoes looks so great on my bookshelf in livingroom -- everyone comments on the shoes. I can't wait to have it done for my grand children.

I placed my order on 3/12/13, gave the salesman, Stu Larkin with the Bronze Baby Shoe Company a check for $396.60 with the impression that I would have my son's baby shoes preserved in pewter in 10-12 weeks. Here we are 19 weeks later, and when I call the Senti-Metal Company that he evidently sends the work to, they tell me it's going to be at least another 3 weeks!! I am so dissatisfied with the misrepresentation the salesman did, it makes me sick. He gave me such a line to make the sale, and I believed his fast talking bologna! I would definitely never refer a friend to have this done if they are thinking anything you are told is true! These were sent with the intention of giving them as a gift to my husband for his birthday, now I don't even know if I'll have them by Christmas. I think I should be reimbursed, but of course he had a line why a monetary compensation won't be made. He never told me the factory closes for 3 weeks!!
