While looking for a wedding reception venue the Holiday Inn Express on Polaris referred me to Quest. While making a visit to the venue, the Account Manager at Quest, Judy, was disrespectful and provided misleading information. She told me that the venue was available, on the event day, and there would be no problem booking it. We needed a venue for 225 guests, which Judy told us (more than one time) that the venue would hold that amount of people. After speaking with the caterer, I called Judy and advised her that I wanted the venue. After numerous calls and 3 days, Judy finally returned my call, only to tell me that the venue was already booked for that day. After another visit and a conversation with the Operations Mgr. Kevin, I did confirm that the venue was booked and they were "waiting" on the signed contract. I learned from Kevin that the Quest venue would not accomodate the 225 guests that were planned for the reception. In the meantime, I lost 4 days of looking for a venue to accomodate my need! Lucky for me, I did find an alternative venue, the Church of the Resurrection in New Albany, Ohio. It is a much nicer venue, three times bigger than Quest, and much cheaper!! The only positive thing out of the experience was that I found a great caterer, Laura's Catering, that was willing to work with my budget! So, if you are looking for a reception venue, look elsewhere....there are better, bigger, prettier and cheaper venues available!
