Mira Choi Tyson, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist conveniently located at 1840 Mackenzie Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43220. Mira offers personalized acupuncture treatments for pain management, sports injuries, stress, addiction, allergies, menopause symptoms, and many other conditions. Mira grew up in Korea, where acupuncture and herbal medicine have a long history of use and are widely accepted as natural components of integrative medical treatment. All of her life, she has witnessed the amazing ability of acupuncture to cure or manage many health issues without negative side effects. Mira has also studied medical Qigong and meditation for many years and found these to be invaluable as tools for strengthening mind, body, and spirit. These are some of the life experiences that finally led her to realize her long-time dream of becoming an acupuncturist to educate and assist others on the path to greater physical and emotional well-being. Mira graduated from the Professional Masters Level Acupuncture Program of the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, where she also completed an intensive clinical internship. In addition, she completed an externship at the Beijing Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine in Beijing, China. In April 2016, she earned a certificate in Acupuncture Sports Medicine after completing a series of 15 courses with Dr. Whitfield Reaves, an established expert in sports medicine acupuncture. Mira is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio.
