This is a great place been going to them for 20 years. Doctor Doyal is very good she explains everything . Easy to understand.

The doctor I saw was nice enough, but there was an issue with the way that they billed my insurance that will keep me from going back. I went in for a routine eye exam to get a new prescription and mentioned that I had a known issue of seeing floaters. The doctor didn't do any additional testing outside of what is routine for an eye exam, but then coded the visit to go to my medical insurance because "floaters" were discussed. So, instead of it being covered completely by my vision insurance, I ended up having to pay more than even a typical eye exam would have cost out of pocket. I would have understood this logic if she "found" the issue of floaters. did any tests, or even discussed the cause, however, it was something I was already aware of and had extensive testing for previously. The person I spoke to on the phone about the issue was unhelpful and basically told me there was nothing they could do about it because of the way the doctor had written up the exam notes. This is something that the doctor should have been upfront about before even doing the exam instead of leaving me to find it out once I received the bill.

Lovely, clean, modern facility with state of the art equipment. Friendly knowledgeable staff and wonderful doctors. Five stars all the way except the wait times. Bring a good book......or three. Appointment times are meaningless. Allow several hours.

Finally walked out. The first two times I had exams, I waited at least 40-60 minutes for my name to be called. When I arrived today, everyone in the waiting room was told "we're running a little behind today". After one hour, I decided I had had enough. This continuing practice is incredibly rude, disrespectful, and controllable. If you value professionalism, avoid Mid Ohio Eye at all costs.

Good Doc, Horrible Wait

I have several family members who visit this office, and every one of them, every appointment takes hours. I currently have been in the waiting room 45 minutes, and I know from experience that once we get in a room we will wait that long or more. Once it was because they were learning an electronic record system. Once because someone was out ill. Always a reason. If you really like them, endure the wait. If you just need a routine eye exam, find someone more efficient.
