These people are fundamentally dishonest. Last fall in my dealings with JT services, they accepted money for work they had no intention of performing, cease replying to messages inquiring status, and never performed the necessary work. Lesson learned, but my experience told me if you want responsible professionals, look elsewhere.

Service, Billing and Communication Issues Galore

I do not recommend service from JT. Their actual service is fine when they show up. This year they have charged me for weeks I did not receive service, changed service days without notifying me and have not responded to 4 voicemails and 5 email requests for a phone call to rectify the issues I was having. I was forced to dispute charges with them and STILL have not received a phone call from them. Last years’ service was like clockwork, did not miss spots in my lawn and I was always billed correctly. This year, they miss spots in my lawn, bill incorrectly and do not service consistently. I have spent a lot of time trying to rectify the issues and I asked for additional services, yet I haven’t received a response. Yet, the month my credit card on file expired, they called my 2 days in a row to get an updated card. So if they want money, they can call you; but if they owe you money for charging for services they didn’t supply, they don’t respond. I contacted the company in April to ask for a quote for additional services; the same voicemail where I confirmed I wanted services for this year, and never received a response. I know they received my voicemail though, because they mowed my lawn less than a week later. I thought maybe they got busy and forgot, so I let it go. My May invoice rolls around and it is incorrect, so I call in and say my May bill was incorrect and also I wanted a quote for additional services. No phone call back. So I email in saying the same thing plus my lawn was not mowed on June 3rd. They respond saying my lawn will be mowed on June 4th and they will apply a credit for the May date I was not serviced and that they didn’t know I wanted additional services. They didn’t offer to come give me a quote. On June 5th, I email back saying my lawn was not mowed on June 4th either, I would like a refund versus a credit on my account, and updated invoice and I know they received my request for quote and to please call me. No response. I call in; no return call. I email again; no return email. I was polite and friendly in all of my correspondence.I email later in June and say I haven’t heard back, so I will file a dispute with my credit card and let them know I was unhappy with their lack of response, so please call so to discuss. I also asked if they were notified if the field employees were unable to mow due to short grass or rain, as I did not want to be billed wrong every month. I also mention my quote again. They finally respond to that email, now stating that they did provide service they week I was disputing, but would refund me anyway. They say I might want to find another company because they do not notify the customer if the lawn is not mowed. Never offer to do the quote; never called. I responded to please call me. I have not heard from them since. I have left two more voicemails with no response. I also did not receive any more services from them.I received my June invoice, and of course, I was charged for June 3rd, which I was not serviced on and which I mentioned multiple times via phone and voice mail. In short, their customer service and billing is horrible. Their response time is horrible. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and plenty of time to respond, as I am a fellow business owner and I reasonable person. I was a repeat customer who they never had billing issues with (except for the expired card, which was quickly resolved). I was treated like a nuisance instead of a customer. The biggest issue I have is they discontinued service simply because I asked do you get notified if a lawn is not or cannot be serviced. They acted as if it was unreasonable of me to expect a correct bill. Also, they expected a return call from me within 24 hours for the expired card issue, but do not respond at all for refunds.
