My active and athletic 16 year old daughter has suffered from anxiety and stomach pain on and off over the years. The b...eginning of this school year, the pain was so severe, it sent us to the ER a couple of times, kept her home from school for 40 days over 6 months, and ceased most activity. After 2 endoscopies, 6 prescriptions and the FODMAP diet, her pain level was still a "4" at best. With western medicine exhausted, her pediatrician suggested acupuncture. Thank, God! Western medicine worked to try to cure my daughter for 7 months with minimal success, weekly doctor and hospital visits, and over $3000 in out of pocket co-pays PLUS medications. Within 6 weeks, 12 acupuncture treatments, and 1/3rd the out of pocket costs, Dr. Yang has helped my daughter get back to all of her activities, eating normally, weaning from (if not eradicating) most medications and down to a "0-1" pain level! Having had no previous experience or knowledge of acupuncture, we were skeptical but desperate. I'm so grateful that we were led to Dr. Yang and her kind and competent staff! The treatments are not only therapeutic, effective, and money and time wise, but relaxing. My daughter usually naps during the treatment and is relaxed for some time afterwards. We will opt for acupuncture over western medicine moving forward.
