Im from MI and my car broke down on the freeway. I dont know the area so Towing took me to them(closest mechanic). They replaced my fuel pump for $630!!! 2007 ram. I was happy that I had it done. Day after I was about leaving OH and tried to filled up gas tank. couldnt do it because every 30 cent fuel pump nozzle pop out. My mechanic showed me that they cut a hose coming from my tank and filled in that hole with screw!! Also, fuel gauge shows wrong amount of gas in my tank!! 1/4 on the gauge means empty now!!!! if you are smart enough, do not go there with your car problems!!

I have not taken any car there for years because I have been under warranty with dealerships when buying my last 2 new cars. I have recommended Howilers to everyone that is having car problems because I think they are the best there is... My favorite story is the one where I took my Lincoln in and told them that I was going to need a certain repair that would have cost around $800. When I picked it up the owner told me that was not the problem and it was something very simple and there was no charge. He could have taken advantage of the situation and I would have never known. He is probably the most honest guy you can find. They always do the best work....

These guys are super nice, very honest and they know what they're doing. They have never tried to sell me any "extras" or anything like that, and the price is always fair. I've recommended them to friends who have also told me that they were very pleased with the price and service. They are 30 minutes from my house, so I've tried a couple of other places that are closer, and I keep going back to Howilers...there service and price are well worth the drive!

These guys are great! They're honest, and they know what they're doing. I took my Jeep in to another place in town because it was overheating, and they told me I needed a new radiator and heater core. I had it towed to Howilers and they told me I needed a new water pump, which they fixed the same day and the Jeep has been running great ever since! They saved me $1000 compared to the other places estimate. I've had it in there a few other time for minor fixes, and have been completely satisfied with their work and price.

It's so hard to find an honest mechanic that doesn't try to sell you a new air filter and brake pads every time you take your car in, but I finally found one and will never take my cars anywhere else. There's plenty of places closer to my house, but Howilers is more than worth the 25 minute drive from my house.
