The General Services Division is a part of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, which is governed by the state of Ohio. Operational for more than 20 years, the division offers asset and budget management services. It provides assistance with the commercial lease negotiation, purchase, sale and oversight of state-owned land buildings and leased facilities through the Office of Properties and Facilities. The General Services Division also offers maintenance and security services for various public facilities. The division s real estate services section assists with commercial leasing, property acquisition, appraisal review and property divestiture operations. In addition, the section has expertise in advising and resolving real estate issues in the areas of property management and land surveying.
