I see that many have had wonderful experiences with this facility. I don't know about the other employees here, but I personally had a rather poor experience with Yelena. I had permanent eye-makeup done. First of all, she was 45 minutes late to our appointment. She told me about an hour ahead of time that she would be in all fairness. When the procedure was completed, I was given no ice, no vaseline, and Yelena rushed through my home-care instructions because she was late for her next appointment (The next woman had been in the waiting room for a half an hour). My eyes were incredibly swollen and painful on the long drive home and I would have really appreciated some ice afterwards. Luckily my husband was able to run to the store and pick me up some vaseline since Yelena forgot to give me the jar she said I would be going home with. The tattoo itself is decent. Some specks are missing, but the lining itself is even.



All of this aside, what really upset me was that I paid for this procedure through groupon. In the fine print it is mentioned that this groupon does not include touch-ups. I didn't see this initially. When I arrived at my appointment I read every line of the four pages of paper work that I needed to sign. The paper work stated that I would receive one touch-up free of charge. This seemed very standard from what I had researched on the internet about other permanent eye-makeup services.



During the appointment, I had expressed some nervousness that the tattoo would be too bold. Yelena frequently mentioned that it could be darkened during my touch-up session if necessary. Because of this I was happy to be conservative with the ink during my first appointment. She reminded me that my tattoo would lighten up quite a bit after the first few weeks but that it would be fixed if I didn't like it at a follow-up.



When I called to schedule my follow-up today, she says "Oh, that's going to cost you $100. The touch-up isn't included when you use a groupon." Sure enough, I re-read the fine print and it did state this. However, I felt that this was poorly explained and very misleading when you factor in the paperwork she has you sign before your initial appointment and her frequent mentions of a touch-up procedure afterwards (with no reference to an additional fee).



Overall, I'm not mortified I chose this facility, but I will not be doing so again. Even before I realized the touch-up was not included, I had been telling my interested friends not to come here for permanent make-up. Once again, I don't know about the other employees. But my experience with Yelena was not a positive one.

I did hours of research online about laser hair removal. I then did even more research on places that would do it in the Columbus area. I checked websites, and called around doing comparisons of places in Columbus. Because they cost the least, I decided to look up the equipment they use to make sure it's on par. They use one of the most advanced lasers on the market! They are just out to make permanent hair removal more affordable to the average person. I absolutely love this place. Thus far I have had two of an estimated four laser treatments done to remove the hair on my chest. The staff is always super friendly. The environment is very professional. And it's very obvious that they have years of experience. Best of all - I can afford it! So far, all has gone as planned with the hair removal. My results have been great. I would, and have recommended this place to friends. If you're thinking of getting permanent laser hair removal done and live in the Columbus area - going to Gahanna Cosmetic Therapy is a winning plan!
