Very Sadden...



I've been a patron of Mrs. Ena Caribbean Kitchen for years and have really enjoyed her food. But, something has changed with the food, the service and the cleanliness.



First off, I ordered the Oxtails (four little nuggets bones swimming in a whole lot of gravy) $10.50 Come On – Really!! The jerk chicken was extremely hot and sour. The Hot is ok but the sourness dominated the taste, Just Horrible. The table we sat at was dirty; we had to clean it ourselves. I inquired about the minimal amount of oxtails vs the price and the cashier was really nasty and rude to me. The lady in the window heard my inquiry and she was just as nasty and rude. I felt like I was being bullied for asking a question. I left this establishment feeling like I was just slapped in my face and robbed.



I remember a beautiful place to dine in with its ambiance; tranquility and cleanliness. Mrs. Ena herself is a wonderful lady reminding me of my grandmother, but the staff and chef are ruining her business.



I have heard many complaints about Mrs. Ena’s food and service, but I stayed faithful- I guess until it happened to me. I choose not to return for fear of wasting money and probably being beat up by her staff.

This food is nasty and anyone who lived in a Caribbean household would know this is not real Caribbean food. The beef patties taste like the boxed frozen ones that they reheated. The coco bread isn't fresh. They don't even sell hardough bread. They need to reevaluate their selection for the people that are really Jamaican that would appreciate a real Jamaican meal.

ENA'S HAS VERY GOOD FOOD AT A REASONABLE PRICE.ON TOP OF THAT YOU GET PLENTY OF FOOD.
