I had the misfortune of staying at the property at : 2700 Corporate Exchange Drive

Columbus, Ohio, USA, 43231 August 1st 2009 . I will never stay at any Hilton property again.

This place is a dump! I was shocked ! First the ice maker on our floor was broken, not a huge problem. When I told the desk person about it he told me I could use one on another floor. He obviously knew it had been broken for some time. No apology, no concern about fixing it. It only got worse from there. The sofa bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever tried to sleep on (emphasis on tried). It was as loud as a college frat house all night long. No one from staff could be bothered with stopping the noise. It sounded as if there was a demolition derby with the luggage carts going on. The room wasn't too messy, but the halls and elevators certainly were. When we tried to checkout, it took 30 minutes to get an elevator. One of the housekeeping staff ran in front of me and my wheelchair with his linen cart. When I was finally able to get to the lobby and checkout the desk clerk did not bother to ask how our stay was. I let him know we were unhappy, but he gave no response to my displeasure with my stay.

I have made a point of staying at other Hilton properties in various cities in the US and other countries. Now I have to rethink that because I can no longer trust that my stay will be enjoyable, restful, or even tolerable. It was a nice location, pity someone has yet to build a hotel there. 1 star is too high a rating, but there is no lower mark available. Unlike me, you have now been warned about this unbelievably substandard hovel. Shame on you Hilton! (not Paris this time)
