I have been using this service for many years and have always found them to be reliable, professional and friendly. For a fall cleaning this year, they were able to get to me very quickly. The work was neat and thorough. The young man was so kind and helpful. He even did a small home maintenance job for me that we had no ladders to reach. I expect to use them for many more years.

The scope of work that was on the quote was for "GUTTER REINFORCEMENT WITH HIDDEN HANGERS" AND GUTTER AT THE FRONT LEFT SECOND STORY NEEDS REATTACHED" Neither of those tasks were performed. The representative just cleared a blockage in my gutter then he left. It took him a total 15 minutes. I called to tell the office that he didn't end up needing to reattach and reinforce my gutter - it was literally one trip up the ladder. So I thought they would naturally give me a break on the price. The lady said that a trip to the house is $145 no matter what.They are deceptive and dishonest.

Quick response, would use them again! They are fully insured which is important to me. The technician I worked with has been there for over 10 years, he knew what he was doing!

Okay, I am going to be as honest as I can be and keep it this strictly about business. I called last week Dan the Gutterman on a Monday or Tuesday to get an estimate for new gutters on my house. The female representative said that I would have an estimate shortly, I was figuring a few days MAX! I never heard anything, so today, a week later I called back. Dan the Gutterman never came out to my house, the male representative kept putting me on hold trying to do an over the phone quote after he said that he would go over to my house, since I live about 3 miles from their shop. Their estimate has come in at over DOUBLE the price of two of their competitors, who actually come and do the estimate, have been in business for years and offer 5 year and 25 year gaurantees! I will never call Dan the Gutterman AGAIN!!!

No option for it, but I would choose ZERO STARS! I regret ever calling them now. I wanted to schedule them to snake my downspout drain lines when I could be home to witness what they encountered with my pipes. But *NO* -- they would NOT do that! They were unable to snake my drain lines because of tree roots, but they still left me a bill for $185.00 for a job they were unable to complete. I called several times and was promised several return calls which NEVER came. They have the CRAPPIEST customer service EVER!

I have used Dan for years and they always work hard and do more than any other gutter company that gave me quotes. Most importantly all of the employees are insured that way I will not be liable for an accidents.

Beware! Dan, gave me an estimate of 400 to clean out gutters and downspouts. Didn't show up until 4 months later to do the work. Then billed me 725.00. Turned out that every one of my downspouts was completely clogged and they didn't clean out a single one. Crooks.

BEWARE! Make sure you're home and supervising when they come to your home. I was charged $175 for a so called "completed" job. I was on vacation at the time of service... Upon my return the job was "completed". I don't think they did a thing as I can clearly see from my bedroom window that my garage gutter hadn't been touched. I called to complain and to see if they could come out and complete the job correctly. I was basically told to pound sand. I have to pay the bill in fear of them putting a lien on my property. Beware of this dishonest business!

Four weeks ago I contacted Dan the Gutterman to snake the drain line from my gutter to the street and check the gutter on the rear of the house. I was told they put it on their schedule and to expect someone the following week. It has now been 2 weeks past that date and they still have not done the work. They do not even return any of my communication attempts. Poor customer service and are not reliable.

They sent two young college kids with a few ladders. They used our hose and left it uncoiled across the yard and forgot to turn the water off when they left. They also took out one of the filters in the gutter and didn't put it back so I had to get out a ladder and do it myself. $124 for about 45 minutes of work was ridiculous and then to top it off, I had to clean up the mess they made in the driveway. Needless to say, we will not be using Dan the Gutterman again.

This company sent a college-age guy with a ladder and no scruples who did a small fragment of the job and left after 30 minutes, but left the full bill for a complete cleanout in my door.



Pretty dirty business. Dan doesn't have any problem charging you the full price for half of the job or something completed many months after its been requested and forgotten.



Use anyone else.

Overall did a good job, seemed a bit pricey but the crews worked hard and knew what they were doing. but make sure to get all details of the job in the contract up front for instance: cleaning job site , replacing sod and topsoil on top of ditches dug. I had a stack of dirt left on my concrete next o my front porch, and a long ditch was filled in with the hard clay that was under my topsoil, and no sod replaced on top. When they cleaned my gutters, I wasn't home so I don't know if they were hosed out or just had debris removed by hand. also make sure that you agree on size/scale of drainage fields /how water will exit from the gutter and underground pipe system ahead of time.

All of my experiences have been pleasant and efficient!! Would recommend to anyone!!

Dan the Gutterman has always been reliable and do good work. We have used them for fifteen years.
