Provided by YP.comI have never Carl Zipf for any lock service, but after dropping my daughter off to school this morning, I noticed a an older worker driving a van and cutting people off and switching lanes in a very aggressive manner (I'm guessing that he was probably late to work as I now see that he only had a few minutes left till 8:30AM). He tried to get in front of me, but I was going faster than him and so he then crossed into my lane several times trying to push me to open up a hole for him. I had to swerve out of the way and have to blow my horn not to get side-swiped by this van. At this point, the driver became a bit irritated, turned to me and gave me a few signs signaling his irritation. Up at the light, I got into a turn lane and drove up past the driver and he turned and gave me another angry look.
I called and talked with the owner (Tom) over the phone (the number was all over the van) and while he was willing to talk with me and hear my compliant, he seemed a bit frustrated and uninterested that I had taken the time to call in with a legitimate safety concern... His driver had created several near-accident misses in less than a mile on Fisher Road.
To Tom's credit, he did apologize for his driver, but I did not get the impression that he really understood the gravity of this type of road rage, or was very interested in really hearing how close the driver had come to causing several accidents.
I hope he (Tom) got back to whatever I distracted him from (while on the phone with him) as it sure seemed more important to him than some outsider calling into complain (and taking the time to alert him) about the roadway danger and potential damage to his company's image caused by his driver's very unprofessional behavior.

Provided by YP.comThrough a series of phone calls that's lasted over a week, I'm finally getting someone to come out and cut keys for a couple cabinets at work (hopefully). They've hung up on me a couple times without a word, taken days to call back as requested, and at one point expected me to remove the lock from my work cabinets so they could be keyed there, instead of just sending someone out. I'm not pleased at all yet, but will write another review if my cabinets are keyed.

Provided by YP.comMy wife and i recently moved in to the Dublin area. After two different neighbors approached us with 'spare keys' to our house from the previous owners we decided to have the door knobs, locks and deadbolts replaced and rekeyed. We call around and Carl Zipf lock shop seemed to have the most local history and gave us the quickest response time.
My wife and I were very happy with the gentleman who showed up. He was very patient with our 3 kids running around at his feet as he replaced all our doorknobs and locks. We recommend them.
