Massage is a popular way to help the body relax and return to a state of ease. There are many different types of massage, for different therapeutic benefits. Lymphatic stimulation massage helps to stimulate a normal-but-sluggish lymphatic system, aiding in injury recovery and detoxification. Manual lymphatic drainage is a specialized massage used when the lymphatic transport system is damaged and normal patterns of lymph drainage are disrupted. When people undergo treatment for cancer, they may be at risk for developing lymphoedema. Surgery may remove nodes and damage lymph vessels. Radiotherapy damages lymph nodes and vessels. Resulting lymphoedema may occur soon or years later. Melanoma, breast cancer, prostate and gynaecological cancers have an increased risk for lymphoedema; Lymphoedema cannot be cured. It requires lifelong management. Management involves compression to reduce then maintain limb size, manual lymphatic drainage, exercise, and skin care. Compression can be bandaging during a reduction phase and a compression garment during the maintenance phase. Low level laser therapy may also be used. They can help monitor limb size and offer manual lymphatic drainage, education in self massage, exercise and skin care. The massage, which is very gentle and deeply relaxing, helps to direct lymph to other functioning nodes. To book an appointment with one of our qualified therapists please phone Linda at 614-855-5533

Linda did an AMAZING job for me. I sit all day at work and do computer work, and it's surprising how much tension gets built up. So, went out there, talked for a few about what I was experiencing and she went right to work.

Very nice space for the massage, good atmosphere, and very clean and nice.

My wife has fibro and Linda says that the Lymphatic service she does is great for that, so I'm hoping to get my wife in there.

Thought I'd share my experience! It can be hard to find a really good LMT that can get some work done on you - Linda can do it!

This is a wonderful office. Dr...

This is a wonderful office. Dr. Joe is kind. He listens to me and he has helped me more than I can say. I am on medicare and it takes me more time to do things than some. He is always patient and understanding. My back pain is almost gone completely and my knees have never felt better. I was able to work in my garden this summer without any problems bending. Thank you to this wonderful doctor for all the help.

Best Chiropractor ever!

I have been to so many chiropractors and I have never come across anyone who treated me better than Dr. Joe Iuvara. He listened to me, took time to find out what I personally needed and helped me so much! This is the ONLY office I will ever go to again. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff in so nice and the treatment is the best in Columbus!
