The Division of Air Pollution Control, also known as DAPC, operates under the government of the state of Ohio, which also operates environmental services, hazardous waste management, emergency and remedial response, and solid and infectious waste management divisions. The Division of Air Pollution Control monitor air quality, reduces air toxics, identifies polluting vehicles, and supports emergency planning and response activities. It operates a risk management plan and offers the Right-to-Know program, which includes chemical inventory and risk management information for emergency response organizations. The division also administers a fair and timely enforcement program for violations of air requirements. The Division of Air Pollution Control is located in Columbus, Ohio.
