In 1996, LSI migrated the Carmike's POS systems to Linux. This decision allowed LSI to secure the theaters information systems, allowed remote access to the systems for trouble-shooting and maintenance and provided a strong and reliable platform. LSI is currently developing and updating Carmike Cinemas processing system that allows the company to collect their theatre information throughout the circuit. Utilizing database servers and web based reporting, LSI is improving the information systems with plans to provide real-time data from the field. On going efforts are also placed on development of the POS systems for the entertainment industry. LSI is also involved with the finacial industry dealing with growing Automated Clearing House ( ACH ) market. The company is led by a team of technology professionals with a history of success in technology and business management.
