Riverside Elementary School is a Title I school that employs a staff of more than 55 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes child psychologists, Title I aides, guidance counselors, speech therapists, special education instructors, classroom teachers and custodians. It has an annual enrollment of more than 450 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. Riverside Elementary School organizes a variety of activities, such as parent-teacher conferences, writing competitions, field trips, dance shows and musical concerts. The school maintains a team of peer mediators that promotes leadership and citizenship qualities among students and keeps faculty and students working together on school projects. Riverside Elementary School is a part of Maury County Public Schools and is located in Columbia, Tenn.
