I have a termite problem. I crawled all through the attic spaces and basement on my knees dragging tools with me. I did wear my knee pads. I broke my flashlight while I was way back in the attic and had to feel my way back. I was terrified that I would fall through the ceiling. I took a tarp with me and crawled all over the dirt basement on my knees too. I placed every piece of wood or junk I found on the tarp. A large root ball I found sticking up out of a hole I put on the tarp too. I drug it all outside. When I got in the daylight I broke the decayed root ball open and it was scary. Crawling with termite larvae. I put it in large garbage bags and called the pest control company. They drilled holes into my concrete, trenched around my home, inside and out and filled them with Termiticide . They installed all new vents around my home that open and close by themselves ,did a stack of cinder blocks under my dining room and put a plastic barrier on all the basement dirt. All that for $1630. He gave me a 10 year guarantee, in writing and will come back once a year to inspect and treat for free. If the termites eat a board he will replace it free. He's 75 years old and works 25 year olds with him. He is so fair and honest, reminds me of what my Dad was like, Can't say enough good about this man.
