I'm always very nervous about seeing a new pain doctor! To look at me u would not think anything is wrong till u see me scans an my body is a train wreck!!. But Dr Welker asked what my issues were an took the time to listen which me being so nervous I did not tell him everything that was wrong but he did not look down on me nor made me feel like I just wanted pills an go an ordered my scans I'd had done. I have migraines due to 3 motorcycle wreaks which the last one pulled my spinal cord out from between vertebrae n my neck. All the other doctors just pumped me full of injections an sent me on my way. I'd asked all of them to refer me to a neurologist an not one of them would. Without me asking that was the first thing Dr Welker did was set me up with one without me asking. Also he gave me just enough pain relief meds to get me comfortable till my next visit with him. I'm so thankful for that!! I'm impressed with him an feel he may be the one to give me straight up answers as to figuring out what's causing my body to break down at 56. I have no quality of life at this point due to never having a doc that tried to help me or figure out what's causing all my problems. The other docs just said I'm a mystery an went on. I have a good feeling Dr Welker may be the one to help figure my issues out!! I give him and his staff a 100% there office was extremely clean and the staff was great !!! This was just my first visit. And I'm looking forward to my next. As scared an nervous of doctors as I am that's saying something.
