A complete ripoff business. I depend on drycleaning, being in corporate work and coming from downtown Chicago. On taking in my drycleaning for the first (and last) time to Tripps, I was charged 50% more than I would have been in Chicago. Turns out that Tripps depends on giving out coupons to attract customers and then jacking up their prices so the end result is what SHOULD have been charged in the first place. I learned as I forked over the outrageous charges, and I vow to never step foot in a Tripps again. Caveat emptor.

The new seamstress is EXCELLENT. Brought in five items to be hemmed and got all five back in three days. She was very polite and everything looks great.

BEWARE!!!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! 6 PIECES, ONLY ONE OF WHICH WAS 'DRY CLEANED' $45...DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!

I didn't believe the hype when it came to this dry cleaners - everyone told me not to go, but they started taking carolina card for students so I decided to give them a try. I took six items to be dry cleaned and one to be hemmed. They accepted my six items without giving me an estimate, just took them off and told me to pick them up the next day. I also pinned my dress where I wanted it hemmed and was told to pick it up the next week. I went in the next day to pick up my six items, and it was $105 DOLLARS. For six things. I was incredulous, and they wouldn't give me a reason why - that was the price and they weren't budging on it. I went back the next week to get my hemmed dress, furious, and when they brought it out it was the complete opposite of what I wanted. I had taken out the previous hem to move it, and they had sewn it right back in. The absolute WORST cleaner/tailor I have ever been to - completely taking advantage of students. The staff is rude and unhelpful, and that will be my first and last experience with them ever.

By far one of the worst cleaners in town. Rude staff who misquote pick up times, and didn't say that clothes are sent out just to be pressed. They do very little in house.
