For the First Time I have called any Handyman Ever so wasn't sure if they bring at least the necessary basic tools. I called him to install 3 Light Fixtures which I had bought it. 2 Porch Lights & 1 Light Fixture Replacement over the Garage. Just day before he told me that I will have to get a Glue Tube. I had no clue what kind of Glue was he talking about & found odd that he being a Handyman would not have basic thing like "Glue"..! He later agreed to bring the glue for me. He came on time at about 11 AM and I was surprised to see him use the Restroom just within 10 min. to go to loo. Then left the Flush running while I had just started to cook in the kitchen. My Restroom is just next to the kitchen. okay so the water was running for at least another 45 min. before I decide to go in the bathroom which was still smelly even after he kept the Exhaust fan on. Then after he is done installing the fixtures, he asks me to give him money to get the glue. I asked him how much would the tube cost and he told me about $3-$5. I asked him don't you have cash/debit/credit card on you? He said he did NOT bring his wallet...! I was so surprised to hear that which person walks out of the house with no wallets..! Surely it sounded he wanted me to pay him the money and which I would have gladly done. I asked how many tubes he would need and he said may be 1-2. First he asked me to add $10 to the $180 price & give him a check. to which I refused as he was asking extra $ . Surely this man's intentions were that of grabbing few extra $. I gave him $10 & asked him to bring the receipt. He bought 2 Tubes..! When I saw the tubes I realized that 1 would have sufficed for the job. He did not even care to return the unused tube. then I asked if he used up the whole tube & he did not say anything about the used tube & just gave me unused tube from his car which I had to go return later on. So he made me that trip. He was clearly acting oversmart. I will never hire him again..
