Metts Investigations has provided affordable licensed Private Investigator services since 1992. Metts Investigations is a premier full service investigative firm. In addition to hundreds of civil clients, we have provided service to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED). Metts Investigations first opened its doors in 1992 and is headquartered in Summerville, South Carolina with offices in Charleston, Columbia, and Mount Pleasant. We have performed work throughout the Southeast by using a network of trusted, licensed investigators. Metts Investigations is licensed by the state of South Carolina (SC PI License 1600) and is approved by the South Carolina Commission on Indigent Defense (SCCID) to handle an indigent defense case. Metts Investigations is a member of the South Carolina Association of Legal Investigators (SCALI). Metts Investigations is highly qualified in surveillance techniques using state of the art Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking technology. This allows for real-time and historical reporting of location, speed, and direction of vehicles. We also employ covert, low-light, wireless video recording devices, as well as van-mounted periscope cameras. We have testified in many court cases. In some cases, our proof has resulted in settlements.
