I went to Franks on Hardscrabble Rd. with a tire leak. They told me it was a crack in the rim and would cost $149 to fix it. They said it would take a couple of days. After 6 days they never called. When i called, they also said I needed a new tire also. They were deceptive in not telling me the whole story. I'm picking up my rim and tire and taking it to Pope-Davis across the street (where I should have gone in the first place).

On 20 March 2013, I went into the Franks location on hardscrabble road. I was there to get my driver side front tire repaired, they replaced the tire, but I just recently bought this vehicle, and also have to replace the battery. The mechanic when trying to pull the vehicle in placed the jumper box in reverse polarity and the battery started popping and sparking, the tow truck driver told him the box was attached backwards. Afterwards the car wouldn't start and I was told the fuel pump was bad. I called the local Toyota dealership and their mechanics said reverse polarity can destroy many parts including the fuel pump. One Franks employee who claimed that he builds race cars for a living, stated that you could leave it backwards until the battery explodes and all it would do is blow fuses. I worked with electronics in the ARMY and fuses have nothing to do with polarity, the blow when too much voltage/ amperage flows across the conductor inside the fuse. How do I know this, Toyota knows this, but Frank's doesn't?
