Dr. Smith has lost has passion. I used him for 25+ years, then he got to where he doesn't listen to his patients, spends maybe 3 or 4 mins. with them, and doesn't respect any of the knowledge they possess about their own bodies and issues. Ask him a simple question one time, his response was "lots of things cause that." !!!???? That's his attitude now. I had to leave him for a doctor who at least listened to me and cared enough to discuss options and different procedures instead of just a "one way only" path which of course had to be his. I noted to him about a med I was one was raising my triglycerides, he flatly denied it until I showed him from the drug manufacturers own website that I was correct. Changed the meds and my triglycerides fell by over 50% and have been in line ever sense. There are many other issues too numerous to site. He's just burned out. Find a younger more eager doctor than Johnny Smith @ Lex. Family Practice.
