If you love...even like your hair

DO NOT GO HERE! First off, Sharon overbooks, no sense in making an appointment, you WILL be unnecessarily placed under the dryer while she does other heads. Sharon prides herself on doing tight sew-ins, which I can appreciate. BUT I had to pull over and call my Husband to drive me home because my head hurt so bad, I could barely see. I got home and took a Percocet (it was that bad). The next day I decided that I had to take the sew-in out, I was in too much pain. Upon doing so I lost soooo much of my own hair!!!! ZERO STARS if I could.

I am completely unsatisfied with my hair. It's been almost a month since I've had it done by Sharon. I've thought to myself that the longer I keep it in, the more I'll get used to it. That is not the case at all. It is horrible. I bought three packs of hair of different lengths the pack of hair that was supposed to go on top was a 1b and was closest to my hair color while the other two were a 1 and is noticeably darker than my natural hair. While making the appointment, I asked if she could do my hair a certain way and she was more than sure that she could. I wanted my hair really thick and layered around my face to frame it. By the time she was finished with my hair she turned me around to look in the mirror and that was when she told me she couldnt do what I asked of her. I wouldve never let her do my hair if she would have told me from the jump and I could have spent my money elsewhere. She said three packs of hair was too thick so she didnt put the third pack in. Why wait until the last minute to tell me that? I've had other hairdressers do what I asked with no problem. And she didn't even cut layers into it. the only "layers" that are in it are where my real hair stops, to where my 18 inches of sew in stops. I also felt like she wasnt taking her time on me. I was still nice enough to tip.

Nora Can't do Kinky Twists

Whatever you do not let Nora do your kinky twists! She did mine and its terrible. The ends was left soaking wet and when they dried it was nappy. When she re rodded them they still were wet because she did not have any towels and tried to dry them with paper towels. Many of the twists are sliding out. Even though she twists some back up after one two days! The twists are loose and about half are coming out! Its only been 9 days. Worst of all the parts are not even!! On many of the twists my real hair is showing. She won't to fix the problems for free and wants to charge me $25! How did she get a braiding license!?

No one has come back into the salon for me to "fix" anything with their twists or braids w/ the exception of this customer, of course. This customer refused to take the time to sit under the dryer to give her twists time to dry. Professional paper towels (the kind purchased from a beauty supply store for the purpose of drying hair) were used to protect the customer from getting wet. Prior to leaving the salon, the customer was instructed on how to maintain her kinky twists which she failed to follow instructions (which she admitted on her second visit to the salon). When styling was complete the customer stated that she was pleased with her style. On her second visit to the salon I re-rodded the customers hair and gave instructions again on how to maintain her style. Cust was advised again to allow her hair to dry under the dryer so that the rodded ends would completly dry for a flawless style. This customer refused to let the hair dry completely because she had to go to work. I did not charge her for this because I completed the service as a complimentary follow up and because I needed to see exactly what was happening with her hair (if the customer was properly maintaining the style). I also wanted to ensure that the client was clear on the proper maintenance of her natural hair style. This customer called back about a week later wanting her ends rodded again for free and at that point she was informed that it would ba a $25 charge for that particular service. I am totally dedicated to quality work. In addition to having 10+ years of braidery art/natural hair services, I have been thoroughly educated on quality customer service and I have take countless seminars and hands-on classes for braidery/natural hair services. I've serviced numerous customers (male and female) and they all are repeat cutomers and refer their friends, coworkers and family members because of my impecable work ethic, customer service and craftsmanship.
