I am reviewing not only to rave about Kimberly and Carolina Paws - because she is the absolute BEST groomer I have EVER been to, but because I happen to know about the situation with the negative reviewer below, because I happened to have an appointment the same day as the nut job. She was upset because Kimberly put a picture of her dog on her Facebook page, she threatened to sue her for it! Kimberly routinely posts pics of her four footed clients, all of her customers, including me, love to see their fur babies looking cute. Around holidays she takes adorable pics of them. At Easter she took a pic of my dog with bunny ears on in front of a cute Easter display. It looked like I had taken him to a professional for an Easter photo. As for the mats, there are times when they have to be cut out to avoid hurting the dog, if you brush your dog once in while it won't happen. This woman was obviously a"groomer hopper", going to different places then complaining to get free grooms.

I had the same problem as the 2011 reviewer. My dog was admittedly matted, but his last groomer has always removed matts without him looking like someone took a weed eater to his coat. His chest hair and sides had chunks missing & matting was left under his armpit. His hair was left too long (Shaggy at 3 weeks. At that rate it would have cost another $160 a year & they didn't do his nails). Their credit card machine was down so they kept my info to run later & said they'd call to confirm they destroyed it - nobody called.



They claimed I said not to cut his nails (untrue - they needed more trimming but gently as the vet recently cut them a bit); that I said he looked amazing when I saw a photo they texted me (I said he looked cute); that they told me they were posting his photo on their FB page (it was never mentioned & I would never allow that). They don't apologize because nothing is their fault. It was ended with an attitude saying "good luck finding somewhere else."

i brought my dogs to Kim & her bather 2day for the 1st time & she came back happy & looked beautiful. Before I decided to write a review on here I read the previous reviews on Carolina Paws & other grooming shops around. I found something that was disturbing. Someone apparently is trying to bash Kim & her staff for some wierd reason... i also saw a review on another groomers page (groomingdales) and it was written by the same person at the almost same time on the same date! I dont know how anyone can say something so bad about them. my dog has been other places & never been so happy or looked so good! whoever that person is was totally WRONG! I love these girls! & so does my dog!

I'd trust Kim & Juli with any dog! They are great people and love animals! They are very professional and have great prices (especially compared to other places in the greater Columbia are)!

Kimberly's grooming skills surpass expectations, her love for each individual dog is evident the moment you step through the door of Carolina Paws - and oh does it feel good to know that your pets are in loving hands! My little Bichons, both water shy, are being loved and pampered into Westminster Show ready looks every time we visit. This is the place to go!

KEEP YOUR DOG AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Took my dog here for grooming and I'm pretty sure they used a weed eater to trim her up. Everything was uneven. Also I don't know if they were trying to be creative or their lopping shears went dull but they didn't trim the hair around my dog's feet as well as between her ears. Worst groomer I have ever dealt with

Kimberly and her staff are amazing and helpful. My dogs were groomed to perfection, and when you ask for something to be done a certain way, they have no problem making it happen. And when I have to go out of town I don't need to worry about them, I am very happy with the boarding service they provide. And last but not least their prices are great compared to other places I've paid at other places.



Kimberly and Julie are one of a kind.

My sweet baby Emma, has been to Miss Kimberly many times. She loves going there to see the friendly faces, soft voices, and gentle scratches. Miss Kimberly has been caring for animals for many, many years and truly understands each pets needs. Emma was brushed and groomed so well, that Emma did not leave any dog hair on furniture for a couple of weeks. Miss Kimberly even tied a pretty pink bandana on Emma for her coming home outfit.

Clean shop, gentle care, thorough grooming!!! Happy dog and mommy!!
