I discovered the Scentsy products and loved them. One of my best friends invited me to a Scentsy party and I fell in love with the products immediately. 1. I was finally able to find some scents that did not trigger migraines and still smelled great! The scents lasted longer than any other brand of scented candles or wax I had melted previously. (They still do!) 2. The warmers were excellent quality and they looked very expensive, yet were very affordable. 3. These warmers are SAFE. I didn't have to worry about flames from a candle starting a fire, toxins being released into the air from a wick, or wax melting off a holder and onto furniture or carpet.

Fast forward 6 months...I was buying Scentsy as gifts for everyone, getting myself all of their products and when people had parties, I would  talk about all the things I loved about Scentsy. And then it just occurred to me, why not sell it?

I signed up to sell Scentsy without intending it to become a big business. I thought I could get my products I loved and maybe even earn a little extra money. I didn't plan to be selling Scentsy for only one year and already be promoted twice. I didn't think I could make all this extra money while still working full time teaching 4th grade. But it's happened. Scentsy sells itself- it's a great product. And the Scentsy family continues to grow and add to their products. They have so much more now than when I started and I love ALL the things they have introduced.

By the end of my first year I was more involved in forums and chatrooms about Scentsy. The level of committment our consulants have really wowed me, but what has been even more amazing is the positive support from thousands of people on my 'team'. I'm motivated not just for Scentsy, but for my life. My teaching career has improved with the positive support given out from the Scentsy family. I don't feel like I'm pushing a product. I actually feel like I am providing a service and when a new shipment comes in and I get to deliver the orders, it feels like Christmas and I'm Santa!

Selling Scentsy was supposed to be a little thing I could do on the side to get some great products and maybe make some extra money. And getting the great products and extra money has been wonderful. But the best part...the part I never anticipated...was the way Scentsy's consultants made such a positive impact on my life, not just in sales, but in my teaching and day to day routines. It all revolves around these positive people and their dedication to being good people, helping others and living a good life.
