For more than 30 years, Patrick's Hair Design has been one the top salons in the region, winning multiple awards and honors, including "Best of Howard County" and the "Masters of the Craft" award. The salon is owned and operated by Jodie Gil, Graduate of "Colours of the World" and "Wella Global Color Specialist" who purchased it in 2007 after working at Patrick's for 20 years. Along with her husband, Rudy, she undertook a complete renovation of the salon to make it beautiful and comfortable for her clients following their appointments. The beautiful new space has every service under one roof - hair, nails, skin, makeup, body treatments, etc. - all in segregated nooks for maximum privacy and comfort. Patrick's staff is a diverse group of 25 professionals who have experience with a wide variety of cultures, hair/skin types, and styles. Some bring the experience of one or two decades in the business, while others bring the cutting-edge flair and edge of the newest generation. Still others bring both. Unless you want to walk out broke, I'd go elsewhere if I were you. I was quoted one thing on the phone but somehow when I got to the register my bill was 65 dollars more. When people ask for partial highlights and a cut but the stylist does a couple more foils to her liking and then charges for a full head and on top of that claims it has to be toned...but doesnt tell you how much this toning adds to the price.....there's the explanation as to why the salon was empty on a Friday evening. Very unhappy over here.........

fantastic salon

Love this gorgeous salon. Everyone from the front desk, to the shampoo girls, and the stylist was top notch. I had Karen do a color correction and I finally received the color I've been looking for. Check it out!

Very elegant and friendly salon. Karen has cut my hair at least 4 times and I get compliments on my hair all the time.

Two thumbs up to, Patrick's and Karen M., I'm a mom from the Sykesville area, recently my daughter of 21 decided to color her own hair, with out reading what color it was on the box, she took for granted the picture on the box was the color she wanted,(witch was chestnut brown ) to her dismay, her hair turned out black, when this grow out in six weeks, she decided to color it red, she had hot spots all over her head, and then proceeded to color it again with something else, right away, well ,not knowing this, can you imagine my dismay when she stepped off the plane. The real problem was , we were to have family Christmas photos taken in two days, what was I to do? I immediately booked her an appointment with Karen, it took three hours , but every minute was worth it. The time spent their, was pleasurable, and so was Karen, my daughters hair was all one color, that God intended it to be! What more can I say ,but 10 thumbs up Packrick Hair Design, especially to Karen M. and staff !!!!!!

Very pleased

I am glad to find this salon which is 2 minutes from my house, exceptionally friendly staff. I had Farah work on my hair, she gave me a very nice even hair cut and I like the results, my hair was messed up by another salon which made my hair look like 2 different levels, not anymore.
