The Utility Design Division works under the Department of Public Works Bureau of Engineering of Howard County, Md. It is responsible for cost, scheduling and design of water and wastewater capital projects including water distribution and wastewater collection systems, elevated water tanks and pumping facilities. The division provides technical assistance in the review of plans and specifications for developer funded water and wastewater projects.
