Are There Any Kind Postmen in Colorado Springs?

I have lived in Colorado Springs for over ten years, and have yet to meet a kind or helpful postman. Rather, I have repeatedly come upon postmen who are gruff, aloof, and rude. A long time ago, I began to avoid the larger post offices in the city because of the attitude of many (though not all) of the workers. I found a little "mom and pop" postal service place with friendly people instead. In attempting to get my own mail at my mailbox, after today's experience, I will avoid contact all together with postmen in this city.

I have begun to understand where the term, "going postal" came from. A sense of meanness seems to permeate the whole US Postal Service in Colorado Springs.
