Tried this restaurant for the first time with a Groupon for $40. Groupon mandates that we spend it all in one visit so we ordered $40+worth of food but couldn't eat it all. The owner was not very pleasant that we bought extra food "to go" even though there is no fine print about no "to go" orders. Grhhh. Her gripe should be with Groupon about the missing fine print, not the customers. Owner has NO people skills. Food was decent but not exceptional, so I will take my biz somewhere else where customer service is pleasant.

I wanted to treat my daughter for a nice Valentine's Day dinner at Silver Pond. Heard good things about it and had never been there. We did not have a reservation. We walked in and stood at the front for a good 10 minutes before someone even came to acknowledge us. After being asked twice how many in the party and if we had reservations we were seated at last. We sat there for a good five more minutes and with no one bringing water we decided to leave. Maybe they were on an off night, but we were very disappointed. Very disappointed in the service - we didn't stick around how the food is.

Best Chinese in city. Quiet, pleasant atmosphere. Excellent service.
