I'll relate our family's single experience: Vandals threw a large rock through the leaded glass panel of my mother's entry door 4/5/15. Since my mother didn't know who to contact for possible repair, she asked her insurer (USAA), who recommended Paul Davis. The door was picked up the next day with the assurance that the company 'would be in touch.' Meanwhile, my mother was left with an open entryway to her house. Luckily, a family friend had access to an office door, and this was propped into place as a temporary measure. After one week, my mother called and inquired about the repair status and was told 'this kind of repair can't be done overnight.' On the 21st, totally frustrated, she called again only to be told 'Oh yeah, I've been meaning to take the door to Home Depot to get an estimate.' My mother was livid, of course. She demanded the door back at once. AVOID THIS BUSINESS.

Terrible experience. Ended up asking them to leave after project dragged on and on with employee turnover and no help from owner. Their plumber stole scrap metal from my porch. Would not recommend this business.

Please stay away from this company. Have put in a complaint with our insurance company hopefully they will be dropped from the insurance list. They were very prompt to come out and get the damage report and to demo the bathrooms then it went downhill from then. Aug 21st they came out to demo two bathrooms and told us that we would have someone out within a week to start. After calling them after a week of no one calling they said it hasn’t been approved by the insurance company yet. At this time we have a make shift shower and the other bathroom with no ceiling. Many emails and calls were unanswered. Work finally started Sept 30th. After Mary told us to make sure everything was out of the rooms Ruby showed up to clean everything out what they called a move out. There was nothing they moved out. At the end of the week when they said they were done the master bedroom shower was not completed because they didn’t put it on the work order. They left the area a mess with paint droppings all over the place. Then sent Ruby back out to move everything back in and supposedly a clean up she was there 10 min and left. I had to clean the bathrooms of all the dust and paint droppings. Yes a lot of pictures were taken. Then on top of it they only painted the base trim which now it does not match the door trim and refused to paint it saying the insurance company won’t pay for it and the water damage that was on the wall was not fixed they just covered it up with paint and now the dry wall tape is cracking the paint even more than what it was. We have gone with someone else to finish up the shower and fix the other issues they left. YES WE FIRED THEM. Now they are demanding us to sign over the full amount of the insurance check but will not give us a final bill mind you we fired them before the work was completed. They say the estimate on the insurance site is the bill. The insurance company stated yes that is only the estimate of what we will cover and they need to supply a final bill. It is 12/30 and no bill yet but sent us a statement saying they were going to start lien procedures. Stay away from this company. And reading the other post on this company we are not the only victims with them. BBB ratings don’t mean a thing dealing with this company.

They seem like good people tha...

They seem like good people that are either understaffed, or really really busy. Upon getting initial visit to my home, I was impressed with the detail in which they took to inspect and evaluate the damage to my kitchen. And that's where it all went downhill after that, hard to get them to come by my home again to start repairs such as cleaning, painting and remove the carpets. Their not the most prompt people that run a business, if they say they'll be there at 8:30, your guess is as good as mine in determining when they will get there. I just wondered if its the type of service I'm looking to get in starting the job, what can I possibly expect once my home is in disarray. I had no other choice but to switch to another restoration company in town, that has better customer service to people like me that going through a difficult time. In their defense I would like to say once again; they seem like good people and the owner and his wife tried hard to make it right, but I just couldn't believe that things would be better. Sorry it didn't work out for both parties. Thanks for trying to help.

If you need restoration work d...

If you need restoration work done in Colorado Springs, the absolute LAST PLACE you want the work done is by Paul Davis Restoration. These people are unprofessional, arrogant and frankly rude.

I had a homeowners claim due to some water leak problems & Paul Davis was who the insurance company sent to fix the problem. A few months later it was discovered there was an area in the crawl space that they failed to clean properly and was emtting a bad odor. I contacted Paul Davis to come out and fix this & they flat out refused to do so despite my having had a plumber certify for me there was no new leak and this was remnants of the previous leak that was failed to be cleaned.

Paul Davis's service is the worst I've ever seen & the people you will speak with on the phone are rude and not timely in returning calls as I waited several hours and usually had to follow up and call back myself.

Save yourself the time & hassle and use anyone but Paul Davis Restoration. These folks deserve to go out of business for their unprofessional work and attitude.

I live at the bottom of a hill...

I live at the bottom of a hill and once again, the sewer backed up into my basement. This is the second time since I moved in 3 years ago. My insurance recommended Paul Davis, so I went with them. They were much better than the last company that cleaned it up.

Their employees were on time and were pleasant. My wife actually felt comfortable with them in the house. They cleaned up the basement and had to cut away a lot of the drywall. The last company didn't do as much. The fans were noisy, but to get it done quickly, they had to stay on- sure beats the stench that was coming up.

Wife is happy, I'm happy and I know it dosen't smell any more. They did everything and worked with my insurance (USAA) so I didn't have to deal with too much. It all looks the same down there and they were able to clean a number of things that I didn't think could get clean. My hats off to them
