First of all to the commentor who says the staff are basically "babysitters".... your review is not even a review. It's babble. The staff work their TAILS off. They do SO much with the kids! Field trips on Wednesdays in the summer, crafts, reading, outdoor play, water play, walks around the neighborhood. Every week is a theme week where they focus on something, for instance, Garden/Outdoors. They will make crafts & learn about the focus of that week. My daughter LOVES Jr. Academy. I also have made it a point to be an active parent, I attend field trips, I go pick her up early, I eat at any potlucks they have. I hang out with the staff for a few minutes when I go to pick up my daughter and talk to the staff and get to know them. Also, Jr. Academy IS NOT overpriced compared to the rest. My daughter goes full time at $157 a week, great deal. She gets breakfast, snacks, lunch. I am impressed so far with Jr. Academy & plan to have my daughter attend in the fall as well. :)

Before and after school care is overly priced. The staff are basically baby sitters. Management is unorganized and not helpful. You are better off finding a home daycare close by. Junior Academy promises a lot but delivers very little.

My daughter has been attending the Jr. Academy since she was an enfant. She is now in 4th grade. This is a very caring atmosphere of professionals providing quality care and education. Miss Betty heads up the Academy on Nevada and has been there long enough to have seen my son, now 28, and now my daughter only 8. She has won my trust.######h
