My 12 yr old Armada needed a alternator, or so I was told by AutoZone. Made sense, a 12 yr old vehicle needs repairs sometimes. Had it towed 2 blocks to Joe's. They suggested a diagnostic to diagnose the actual problem and I agreed. AutoZone workers are auto parts store employees not mechanics. Joe's diagnosed a bad cable end and fixed it. Cost me 20$ plus the diagnostic 150$. They covered the tow so I didn't pay for that. They could have easily told me I needed an alternator and run up a 700-800$ bill but they didn't. Please go there.

I love this place. They make me feel comfortable regarding my car even though I know nothing about car repairs. And they do free towing in the city too. Alan helps me understand what the repairs are and why I need them on my car. I appreciate this place because most car shops over charge but NOT Joe's. Plus they are local family owned! I don't mind spending money there for windshield wipers or brake lights because they are local. Oh! And they call you to remind you when your car is due for maintience. I appreciate their follow up and they make sure I walk away feeling confident about what I am purchasing. Thank you Joe for having an honest car shop that acts with integrity and puts customers first.

While booking appointment they said different charges, while leaving the vehicle the price informed is different saying price got changed. Cannot believe..

We broke down late at night and went off online reviews to figure out where to have it towed. We need an alternator and a battery- $799.98. When I Googled our car and what the cost was, there was a sliding bar depending on your area. The highest for parts and labor for the alternator was $481. Needless to say we are choosing another route. $90 charge. For something we told them was the issue and is a free test at any automotive shop.

I attempted to redeem a voucher -3 oil changes for $30- purchased on Living Social. Be careful:

1. You will have to bring a hard copy of the voucher to the shop (your IPhone app will not be enough, as the shop -does not have a scanner- ).

2. You will be told that it is for ONE and THE SAME vehicle only.

3. You may become a recipient of the manager's negative speech about Living Social, him not making any money on it, and a clear disapproving vibe that you are here -to get a cheap deal-.

Too bad.

Joe's Car and Truck Repair is very clean and comfortable. They have always gotten my vehicles fixed in a timely manner and provide updates throughout the process rather than just leaving you to wonder.

I called before goi ng to the service center and talked with a real nice man who got me in that same day. I was worried about pricing but they talked to me about the work before they did which was fantastic and helpful.

They took the time to explain what was going wrong, how much it was going to cost, and how they could fix it to hopefully make it not happen again. The service people were so nice and I felt at home.

My old car is pretty faithful but when something goes wrong, it's usually something pretty big. Joe's has always had my back and remember me and my sedan when we come in. They remember little ticks and what you've had done before. I feel like they really care.

Went in to have auto check out for a problem. The "FREE" estimate will actually cost you $45 for the diagnostic. Which I think is fair. They told me it was one issue and $550 to fix. After I said okay fix it. It turned into a totally different problem and would need a total new engine. I told them no thanks. I was charged for them to NOT fix my auto. They didn't return phone calls for two and several messages. It took me 3 more trips to get my auto from them. What a waste of my TIME and $$$. The desk person actually suggested that I lie to whoever I work with to get a higher trade in value. I was shocked and appalled. To improve this business: Be honest and treat people how you would want to be treated.
