My wife is 11 weeks pregnant was recently late to her second appointment by 8 min due to our babysitter being late. Our first appointment seemed incredible and a great fit for our family. On our way to the office, we gave a courtesy call to let them know we were running behind (it was prior to our appt time when the call was made). She was told that she would have to reschedule as a result. She politely but directly informed the nurse that I was deploying (active duty military) within the week and that she was leaving for texas and could not reschedule. After the discussion, we were told that we "hopefully could make it on time". We arrived 8 min late and the RECEPTIONIST informed us that we had been dropped from the care of Dr. Fuller due to my wife's "behavior" on the phone. Amazingly enough, she was on speaker in the car with me and i found it no more than her imploring them, due to the circumstances, to still see her that day. The nurse was the one who was, in fact, uncaring about

Sharon was an amazing midwife. She is a strong and incredibly compassionate person and has a very calming presence in the delivery room. She's incredibly knowledgeable, and it's comforting to have somebody in there that you feel knows what they're doing. She's a WONDERFUL coach, doula, nurse, friend, and mother-type, all rolled into one. I will never have anybody different to help me deliver any subsequent children I'll have. I had a wonderful birth experience, and she was phenomenal all throughout my very stressful pregnancy. The husband who abandoned me in my 8th month of pregnancy decided to show up for the delivery of my son and she was SO supportive of my needs. SHE got me through that day, emotionally and physically, and I would not have had the pleasant birth experience I did if it weren't for her. She's a caring person who does her job better than anybody else.
