Had an in home apt today to service ventilator.
When I called to find out about what time to expect
them, oh I can't tell you that. It took 42 minutes on hold to find out they won't give you a time window.
Great Service !!!!

I have had one of the worst experiences dealing with Apria I've been out of the hospital now for 4 days and still have not been able to receive good Oxygen care I think this is a high concern for people's life and their health I have been hung up on three times and a tech comes out and just rushes and leaves does not check the machine out my machine is not feeling my oxygen tanks and I have complained over and over about it and to this day they still are not filling up I'm still having an issue trying to get oxygen tanks filled I'm very highly disappointed in the care that they have give

Find another supplier if you can.

My experience:

1. On the return from the hospital my wife had 1 hour of oxygen left before a special delivery was made. Apria botched the order.

2. The oxygen concentrator failed after 5 days.

3. The homefill unit (which fills portable tanks) failed after 6 days

4. The customer service is beyond abysmal. You do not get to talk with your local office. Half the time you end up talking to someone with very poor English. The automated phone system will tax your patience.

5. This is not my first experience with Apria. My general impression is that they just don't care about service.

After having to call several times due to circular menus and disconnected calls to get a real person, I had to begin with who I was and my insurance info. Usually the process takes off from there, but for this one I found myself having to explain who TriCare was. Frustrated, I took copies of my referral letters to their office in town. In the office they seemed like they knew what they were doing, and the lady explained I can expect to hear from them within 14 days. That was in mid-March. It's now nearly May, and I just got off a 40-minute call. I again had to explain who I was, and specifically asked what more they needed. They kept referring to my old office phone number as my ID number. After being on hold for most of 40 minutes, they hung up on me. Based on the information I physically dropped off with their office I really can't figure out what more they need. If your doctor refers you here, do yourself a favor and pass.

I can not wait to leave this company. I just called for tanks and I was told I can't get them on a Saturday because it isn't an emergency.

First it took me 30 minutes to get connected to a live person to tell me no tanks. This means I have to stay home all weekend so how nice. I have to have tanks for work on Monday.

Thanks for not doing your job.

How can you only be open 4 days a week?

Very hard to get a hold of. I would like someone when I call to blow in my ear and not punch Numbers. I have been waiting since November. Delivered a new concentrator on December 24th. I have only two tanks. I have missed a lot of the meeting I need to attend. Went to doctor office and lab work came out with no oxygen.

It is very hard to get of hold of them. Put on hold or they hang up. Never comes out to check on equipment to see if it is working correctly. Which mine is NOT.

This has been the worst company I have had to deal with when it comes to getting my patients taken care of. Multiple phone calls, being told that everything is in compliance with Medicare guidelines and I still have a patient who has waited two months and has not been able to get his replacement mask for his CPAP. Medicare is giving these companies exclusive contracts, you would think that they would be somewhat responsible in responding to physician orders.
