Like many others, I purchased a living social deal for a pre-natal massage. My experience with Toni was awesome- she not only made me feel very comfortable, a difficult task at 9 mos. preggers, but has continued to always make me feel like her only priority when I am there. I have now been back several times and have my husband going as well. I live downtown and let me tell you, the drive is well worth it!

I initially purchased a living social deal and received a pre-natal massage. I have since returned for monthly pre-natal massages. Toni is excellent! These are hour massages, but she never skimps on time - in fact, my last massage was an hour and a half at the same cost. She takes her time, and I always leave feeling relaxed. I highly recommend her to any pregnant women wanting relief from back pain (that's the main reason I sought out a pre-natal massage).

I also bought a L.S coupon for Affordable Back & Body Werks. I disagree with the last review, Toni was very pleasant on the phone and got me in right away. Crystal did my Hot stone massage , it was great. As far as attitude goes they where very professional and with great coustmer service. I would recomend them to everyone.

I have had some poor experiences with massage therapy here in CS, but the owner of 'Affordable Back" takes the prize. I purchased a LS deal for a pregnancy massage. The ad did not say you "HAD" to be pregnant. I have been a Massage Therapist for 20 years and know full well what a pregnancy massage is, as I have given about 1000 of them. I called to make an appointment and told her strait off that I was not pregnant but she could still just do the same routine (not much different in 1st tri, just no heavy pressure or working of certain pressure points). She cancelled the first week because she was not feeling well. She had her colleague call and cancel the next week because it was raining with a little snow outside and they only had 3 appointments that day.Ridiculous. I told her colleague I did not want to re-schedule at that time and I would just go somewhere else for now. ( I got in at Toccare the same day) So, this Toni, the owner I presume, called me back, irate and extremely termagant in attitude, demanding to know why (as if she even had the right to ask) I was going to go somewhere else. She then proceeded to tell me that I had bought the certificate under false pretense. I calmly asked her if that was why she kept canceling on me. She said no, but was clearly agitated and continued to raise her voice and bless me out.....telling me she was in the business of relaxing people, not getting them killed on the road. Again, so ridiculous. I do not have a private practice now, but did and was very successful for 13 years. In my wildest dreams, and on my worst day, I would never have treated anyone this manner. She got herself so worked up on the the phone that she finally just said would refuse to honor the certificate since I was a scammer buying the certificate and not being pregnant. It's like refusing to give someone over weight a sports massage. Just very poor and tactless business practice. She is located at JEUNESSE SALON and SPA. The saddest thing is I will not patronize anyone at this business now because she is so scary I would be afraid to run into her even though we never actually met. I did attempt to contact the owner of JEUNESSE to share my experience with her but was told the owner is not interested in speaking with clients. They would not even leave her a message for me. That was really sad , but if she does not care about client experiences there it makes sense that there is no feedback channels and thereby no repercussions. Yet still I wonder how people stay in business with such complacent attitudes. Customer service has really become a sad state in so my businesses. I seem obligated to give one star on here but one star is grossly over rating my experience.
