When you attend the Academy School of Driving, you'll notice several things are different. The respect you receive from instructors and other students is automatic. There are no stupid questions. You will be expected to treat others in the same manner. Also, the atmosphere is low-key. Nobody will yell at you for making inexperienced maneuvers (while behind the wheel). If safety is involved, your coach will correct the situation and use it as a "teaching moment". As a graduate of the Academy School of Driving, you'll take your place among other drivers on the public highways and back roads. Some of them will have been driving for decades while others are barely hours ahead of you. The main thing to remember is to DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE. No matter what else is happening either inside or outside your vehicle, your primary job is to safely move your vehicle over the road. Rubbernecking, cell phone use, makeup application, etc. are all distractions that can have serious consequences both for you and your passengers as well as others. Academy School of Driving is the best driving school in Colorado. Both of my children attended this driving school and were taught not only classroom material and driving skills, but also learned practical and defensive driving skills while out on the road with their instructors. I learned a few driving tips from my children after they had been out driving with the driving school. They worked with our incredibly busy school and sport schedules. I would recommend this driving school to anyone who only wants the best for their children.

Great course!

I took this course in Colorado Springs as an adult and loved it! The instructor used various learning tools suck as art, video, white-board, tests, practices, and of clear hands-on training. Hands on learning techniques, such as the skid test, are great ways to prepare for real on the road driving. My peers were all 15-year-olds, but the class was at least interesting! They help the kids practice for the written test and they train kids behind-the-wheel until they are ready to take the driving test for their license, and they are even certified to administer the driving test and the kids are given a slip to take to the DMV. This is absolutely a great school! I recommend it over all others!
