Warning! Do not use this company! Unreliable, untrustworthy, and unprofessional. I contacted LG on June 8th to repair an LG washing machine under extended warranty. LG forwarded the repair to Advantage Maytag (was not my choice). After a week of hearing nothing, I contacted LG again and they placed a follow-up with Advantage Maytag who finally showed up on June 24th. The technician said parts needed to be ordered. After a month, I followed up and the response was they are still awaiting parts. On August 6th, I received an email from LG that Advantage Maytag cancelled the repair. Now I am back to the beginning having wasted 2 months waiting for nothing with this worthless company. Reading other reviews, their customer service is horrible. Why Advantage Maytag is still in business is beyond me.

Don't waste your time with this company. They are not customer friendly and the ONLY repairman (and owner) that they have is rude and incompetent.

Again to reinforce what most of their reviews online have said - if I could give them negative stars I would. It took 1 week just to get a serviceman in to tell us it was a compressor problem on our 5 year old refrigerator. $75 for that service call but thankfully the compressor is still under warranty. They would order one for us and then we would have to make another appointment to fix. But they couldn't tell us when it would be in and they wouldn't set us up for the appointment. Over 3 weeks later we called to check on the part and were told that the part was never ordered due to someone's mistake. They didn't even apologize. 3 days later the part was miraculously in! But then we were told that it would be another week until they could fit us in to their schedule to install the part (which was going to be a $400 installation fee). I own a business. This is NOT how you do business with clients and customers. When you make a mistake you apologize, own it and make it right. It does not matter if their servicemen are full on their schedules. This is when the owner of the business steps in, does it himself, or pays one of his guys to work an extra shift that day because a valued customer has been without a refrigerator for a month due to his carelessness. Don't use this repair service - look at all the reviews - you have been warned.

If I could give them a negative star I would. This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. I recommend you not to even waist your time calling this company. We had a refrigerator break down, it ended up being a compressor. Called Advantage Maytag on a Monday morning and they sent a technician out on Wednsday. We were charged $68.00 for the call out just to have them to tell us they would order a compressor for us and it would take two weeks or more for them to recieve it. We still have not heard anything back from them, I even tried to call them, but no one answered.
Lucky for us, I followed my gut instinct and called Mr. Appliance a few days later and got the work done in a few days. In todays technological advanced world, what takes two weeks? I understand if the refrigerator was ten years old or more, but this unit is only two years old and it is an LG.
Anyways the compressor came in the next day from Mr. Appliance, the same one Advantage was saying two weeks. Again, if you do business with this company, don't say you have not been warned. I truly believe companies like this should just shut their doors, we do not have the time for their bad business practices.

the absolute rudest service man I have ever has the displeasure of speaking with,He point blank told me that he has rejected this ticket for service twice because he does not come into that EAST ST LOUIS, well we do not want you to come here either. we have lived just fine with out your kind of rudeness. Think twice before using these people for service especially if you live in East St, Louis.

Great Service! I was very impressed with Advantage Maytag Home Appliance ability to diagnose the problem with my washer and make it work. Tech did not waste any time with the repair while educating me about the operation of the washer and ways to prevent it from future disrepair. Advantage Maytag Home Appliance will be my first call for any home appliance repair in Collinsville.

Okay folks if you are looking for a customer service oriented repair service look no further. One of the things we all can agree on is that finding a company in Collinsville that knows what customer service is all about is almost impossible. Advantage Maytag Home Appliance was wonderful. From the first phone call you know you are dealing with professionals. They showed up on time and were able to determine the problems with my washer almost immediatley. Tech not only repaired my washer but also cleaned my dryer vent which was a fire waiting to happen, and for no additional charge changed the door or my dryer. I have added Advantage Maytag Home Appliance to my contact list in my cell and will give it out to all my friends. Thank you so much for knowing what customer service should be about.

One star is very generous for this business. They came to my house, charged an outrageous fee to do nothing. He looked at my washer and my oven, told me what was wrong with them and quoted me 557 dollars. This seemed a little steep for me, and to be honest a little out of our budget, so I asked him to write down the part numbers and leave a detailed estimate so that I could speak with my husband. He refused to provide part numbers- he said that was not his policy. Well, I can tell you why. I found many other places that would provide these same repairs for a much cheaper price and found the parts and a price that was far under what he quoted us. This business should be ashamed for ripping people off. I paid him 74 dollars (that's right folks, a $74 service charge!) to come to my house and leave a half written estimate that did not even include all the repairs and was missing part numbers. On top of it, he was asking my mother (who was there with him because I was at work) why
