Dr. Pope is an outstanding man and veterinarian! I wouldn’t take my babies to anyone else! Dr. Pope stays up to date on the latest medical treatments and procedures. He is compassionate and honest, and our dogs love him!

Dr. Pope has taken care of all of my babies. I highly respect his professional opinion and his kind and gentle hand. I too had an older girl to get sick. I called the office and was told to come immediately. Dr. Pope had known her since she was six weeks old, she was eighteen years old when we found a tumor. When she could no longer eat or drink, I called Dr. Pope, left a message and five minutes later he returned my call, told me again to bring her in immediately. This was on a Sunday, and he gave me all the time I wanted with her, it was difficult for me to let her go, and yet peaceful for her in the end. The staff sent my family a sympathy card which they signed. My family and I are truly grateful for Dr. Pope and his staff.

Dr. Pope has been my vet for about 20 years. Obviously, I'm a satisfied customer. He has gone the extra mile for me many times, not only for my pets, but for stray and wild animals. I'm very impressed with his skills and his respect for animals and their owners. A big plus is that customers are always allowed to stay with their animals and that the place is open to inspection, It's always immaculate.

The staff is wonderful - friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable (J S D).

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Pope for years. Within the past week I had one of my dogs there for kidney failure. Dr. Pope said he thought he would survive. Moses didn't. A week later he couldn't move and was in pain. I called the vet and said I was bringing Moses in to be put down because he couldn't move and was whining in pain. We get there and sat in a room for 20 minutes. I finally went to the back where I saw Dr. Pope clipping a rabbits nails and asked when he would be able to put Moses down? And that Moses was whining and in pain. With a smile and a laugh he said it would be an hour and a half. They were busy and had appointments. I couldn't believe they were letting my dog suffer. Countless times I have had appointments and had to wait on Dr. Pope over an hour to get to the room. I wasn't asking for anyone to give up their appointment. All I wanted was my dog to be out of pain. They told me I could try another vet if I couldn't wait on him to put my dog down. So to end the suffering I went to another nearby vet who was able to put my dog down within 5 minutes. Not once did I ever get an apology from Dr. Pope. All I got was a little laugh telling me I had to watch my dig suffer for an hour while he cut rabbits nails. I'm not writing this review out of spite. I'm writing it because people need to know that your suffering dog will not be a priority and that you will have to wait on getting help if a standard appointment exists when you get there
